Dentistry
Dental assessment, scale and polish, and extractions.
Diagnostics & imaging
On-site blood testing, x-rays, and ultrasound for fast diagnoses.
Exclusions
We treat dogs and cats only. For other species or wildlife, please contact appropriate facilities.
Nursing consultations
Our certified nurses can see your pet for check-ups, suture removals, bandaging, blood tests, and pregnancy ultrasounds. Our nurses can also administer some treatments, such as Beransa and Cartophen injections.
Soft tissue surgery
Soft tissue surgery, including desexing, growth removals, foreign body removal, explorative laporotomy, some eye surgery, and BOAS procedures (surgery to improve breathing in brachycephalic breeds).
Orthopaedic surgery
Orthopaedic procedures for fracture repair, luxating patellas, and cruciate disease (ACL), including DeAngelis for smaller dogs and TPLOs for dogs larger than 10kg are available at the clinic. Darren is highly experienced and passionate about orthopaedics.
Emergencies
We do our best to accommodate emergencies during open hours, but we do not provide 24/7 emergency care. For urgent help, please contact VetChat, Animal Emergency Service, Hobart, or the Animal Emergency Service in Launceston (weekends and public holidays only).
